I presented at Pubcon on AI Content last week. I’m sharing this in case any of you are interested in tools and tactics to up your AI Content game.

This was a redo of a presentation I gave in the spring, wherein I looked at several AI content tools and case studies.
I also used Google Trends to debunk the idea that ChatGPT is in decline. I think it was the summer lull, plus Google’s PR machine.
For the presentation, I looked at two new-to-me AI content tools: Content at Scale and Machined.ai – which I first heard about from Adam Moody of Semantic Mastery. Both are interesting for different reasons.
The Content at Scale President, Julia McCoy, was my co-presenter. No, this is not a paid endorsement.
I also alluded to a process I’ve been working on to make very relevant, high-ranking content, mostly from ChatGPT summaries.
I call it the SEO Skyscraper Method + ChatGPT Data Mining.
Of note, ZimmWriter just updated to include the option to summarize only in their “Penny Arcade” feature, which would make the process outlined in my article WAY easier.
Also, ZimmWriter is increasing the price by 50% on October 1, so if you don’t yet have the LTD, go get it. I may get a few more for my associates to be on the right side of the licensing.
A Question on the ChatGPT SEO Skyscraper Method
This came from a community I’m in, and I’m paraphrasing.
Q: How do you do the ChatGPT SEO Skyscraper Method
A: It’s an AI Sandwich in an AI Sandwich
The way I’ve been doing it, it’s the perfect AI Sandwich, plus a little AI Condiment, if you will 🙂
I am writing the intro and the conclusion; in some cases, I’m writing a little editorial blurb about each of the summaries inline.
The AI summarizes each of the target articles, and then I use it to extract from those summaries commonly cited facts and tactics, which I include in my human intro.
So, if you look at the SEO Skyscraper Method article, the AI Output really starts in “Most Cited Methods for Keyword Research in an SEO Skyscraper Link Building Strategy” and “Most Cited Methods of Outreach for SEO Skyscraper Link Building.”
Those headings include, straight from ChatGPT, an analysis of the combined synopses.
It would be great if Claude could do this, given its higher token count, by it refused on ethical grounds. 😆
Then, the human part starts again at “Brian Dean Didn’t Have Today’s Software“
So it’s kind of an AI Sandwich of an AI Sandwich.
